We decided to register with Target and Wal*Mart. Actually we had originally registered with JCPenney, but later discovered that they like to sell your information to anyone who wants it.

Needless to say, I promptly cancelled that registration and let them know why.

UPDATE: We have received an email from JCPenny's. They are concerned that we are upset and cancelled our registry with them, but apparently not upset enough to call us directly.

We have asked Target and WalMart, and both have informed us they do not sell name and addresses of parties that register with them.
